Smoky Eyes


Materials Required:

1) Eyeshadow Sponge
2) Eyeshadow Brush
3) Eyeliner
4) Eyelash Curler
5) Mascara.







You can use the sades like the Goldens, the Browns, the Blues, the Violets and off course Black.

Use the same color for Basic Smoky eyes and can go for the two shades for Colored Smoky Eyes.

Some of the nice mixes include: Soft gold base with deep purple on top, champagne base with bright blue and peach base with green hue.


Steps For Basic Smoky Eyes:

Outline the top lid using the eye shadow sponge.
Shade the entire eyelid with the eye shadow . Stay within the eyelid area.
Blend the eye shadow line with a clean eye shadow brush, this creates the smoky effect.
Add another layer of eye shadow on the lower eyelid, use the same color for the basic looks .
Blend out all lines, it should look SMOKY. Blend by following natural eyeball socket.
Line your eyes.Make sure to line the rime of your eyes.
Smudge the eyeliner , make sure to add eyeshadow on the outer lower eyes.
Fill in your eyebrows.
Darker eyebrows helps make smoky eyes more dramatic.
Curl your eyelashes and than apply mascara.

Nude lips complement smoky eyes.


For Colored Smoky Eyes:

Use lighter shade on the entire lid and darker into the crease of the eye.
Apply darker shade along the base of the eyelash and end up with a bit of shimmer on the top.


Remember the key to the perfect smokey eye is proper blending. You want to make sure colors are blended together flawlessly.Pair light base colors with rich dark colors nicely.
